How can I download my data?
In Settings → Account (or Data & Privacy section), use "Download my data". You will receive a copy of your account data in a standard format (GDPR right of access).
How do I delete my account and data?
In Settings → Account, open the "Data & Privacy (GDPR)" section and click "Delete account and data". You must confirm by typing DELETE. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What data does Noctar collect and store?
If you create an account: email, optional display name, and password (hashed). We also store your saved locations and preferences (e.g. theme, language) so they sync across devices. We do not sell your data. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I create an account?
Open Settings and tap "Sign up" (or go to the sign-up page from the sign-in screen). Enter your email and a strong password, then confirm your email via the link we send. After confirmation you can sign in.
Where do I delete my account?
Sign in, then go to Settings → Account. Expand the "Data & Privacy (GDPR)" section. At the bottom you will find "Delete account and data". Follow the steps and confirm with DELETE.
How do I change my password?
Sign in and go to Settings → Account. Expand the "Change password" section. Enter your new password (it must meet the strength rules), confirm it, and submit. You will stay signed in with the new password.
I got a notification with strange hours (e.g. morning instead of night). What should I check?
The hours in the email are in the timezone set for that location. If you see times that look wrong (e.g. 8:00–11:00 when you expect night), the location may be using UTC or the wrong timezone. Check the location in Settings → Locations: open the location and set or change its timezone to your local one (e.g. Pacific/Honolulu, Europe/Warsaw). Save the location. Future notifications will show times in that timezone.
I did not receive the email confirmation link. What should I do?
Check your spam and junk folders. The email may take a few minutes. Make sure you entered the correct address when signing up. If it still does not arrive, try signing up again with the same email – some providers will resend the link.
How do I sign in without a password?
On the sign-in page, use "Sign in with email link". Enter your email and we will send you a magic link. Click the link in the email (check spam if needed) – you will be signed in without entering a password.
